Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy roadmap targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-adjacent computing) with impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate future tech into product development pipelines
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for innovation initiatives
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts and advise on compliance strategies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups for early-stage technology adoption
- Establish KPIs to track technology adoption rates and ROI on future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends (demonstrated via patents or published forecasts)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, etc.)
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with multi-year implementation horizons
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with futurism focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and scenarios
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
