Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, decentralized systems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Oversee ethical frameworks for emerging technology implementation
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market horizons
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong background in ethical technology governance frameworks
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
