- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and company vision
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption ROI and innovation pipeline health
- Collaborate with venture partners to scout disruptive startups
- Author thought leadership on future tech impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or corporate innovation
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology/Engineering/Business
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing)
- Experience building innovation labs or corporate venture units
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
