Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biocomputing) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation decisions
- Mentor technical teams in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, advanced AI, or biotechnology
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major conferences
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
