Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities through 2026
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and IoT solutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators for early-stage technology adoption
- Monitor competitive landscape and anticipate regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
- Build and maintain a technology innovation pipeline with 3-5 year strategic horizons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences and industry conferences
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CIO, TOGAF) highly desirable
