Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (2026-2030) through competitive analysis and trend forecasting
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for next-gen AI and quantum computing applications
- Facilitate executive workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption priorities
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech deployment in 2026+ landscapes
- Manage innovation pipeline with stage-gate processes for rapid prototyping and validation
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with exposure to future-tech domains
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight certification preferred
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 implemented future-tech initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and risk-matrix methodologies
