Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI, quantum, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats/opportunities in tech ecosystems
- Architect scalable frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Drive innovation through patent development and open-source contributions
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Maintain competitive intelligence via global tech trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in launching transformative tech products post-2020
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Strong background in systems architecture and agile development
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry forums
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing global R&D teams
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
