Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ innovations
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Assess viability of emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech) through market research and pilot programs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry consortia
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of new technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging tech adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused technology initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Certifications in strategic planning (e.g., TOGAF, CSM) preferred
