Responsibilities

- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying high-impact innovation vectors
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate next-gen startups
- Design prototyping frameworks for testing futuristic concepts in controlled environments
- Present strategic forecasts to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation architects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futurist consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Futures Platform, Trend Hunter)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
