Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and synthetic biology applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives identifying disruptive 2026-2030 trends
- Design patent-pending innovation frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Present trend forecasts to C-suite and board with data-backed confidence intervals
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and DARPA for collaborative R&D
- Mentor 'Future Think Tank' unit of PhD researchers in exponential technology forecasting
- Author industry-defining white papers on climate-positive nanotech solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Computational Complexity (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight with 3+ at Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley disruptor
- Published author in Journal of Futures Research or MIT Technology Review
- Expertise in probabilistic forecasting using Monte Carlo simulations and Bayesian networks
- Proficiency in quantum computing programming (Qiskit, Cirq) and synthetic biology modeling
- Track record of commercializing at least 2 exponential technologies
- Fluency in Mandarin and Japanese for global innovation ecosystems
- Speaker at TED Futures or Web Summit Innovation track
