Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in exponential tech domains
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record translating future insights into commercialized innovations
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience facilitating high-stakes strategic workshops with senior leadership
