Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for enterprise innovation initiatives
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D pipelines and go-to-market strategies
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-focused decision-making and organizational adaptation
- Author thought leadership reports and white papers on emerging paradigms in technology and human behavior
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical and economic indicators to assess risks and opportunities in future ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal evolution
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Track record of developing and implementing successful innovation frameworks in Fortune 500 environments
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Experience with AI-powered trend analysis tools and foresight platforms
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
