Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating futuristic solutions with current business models
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen products and services
- Present foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish industry-wide thought leadership through white papers and keynotes
- Manage innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI and impact assessment
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-disruptive initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS, CFMP) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-to-product transformation
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
