Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging technological and societal trends
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with executive teams to align on future-proof business models
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring innovation impact and ROI
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product development plans
- Champion experimental projects with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Publish thought leadership pieces on future trends in top-tier industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and scaling successful innovation initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive experience
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects and thought leadership
