Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology disruptions across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of academic partnerships and startup collaborations
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders for strategic decision-making
- Author quarterly innovation briefs for board of directors
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation grants for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial applications
- Deep expertise in emerging technology landscapes (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
