Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (biotech, quantum, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Author white papers on emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Design and execute horizon scanning methodologies across 15+ industries
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced trend analysis and strategic storytelling
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify next-generation investment opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and strategic communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Experience with futures simulation platforms (e.g., GPT-4 powered scenario tools)
