Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps and product development strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and disruptive startups to pioneer emerging technologies
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and executive storytelling
- Design and implement prototyping initiatives for next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and biotech integration
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and socioeconomic factors influencing long-term innovation landscapes
- Mentor a high-impact team of futurists and innovation specialists while fostering a culture of bold experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-oriented strategies in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and scenario development frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio showcasing completed foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFSD, CPSI) strongly preferred
