Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces)
- Architect scenario-planning models for global megatrends (demographic shifts, resource scarcity)
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, policy, and ethics teams
- Present future-shaping insights to Fortune 500 boards and UN summits
- Build and mentor a global foresight network of 200+ futurists
- Secure $10M+ annual innovation budget through evidence-based proposals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Published author or keynote speaker at Davos/Aspen/WEF events
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI governance, climate tech, or human augmentation
- Fluency in systems dynamics modeling and scenario planning tools
- Portfolio of successfully implemented 10-year+ strategic visions
- Security clearance for classified innovation projects
