Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions with 3-year impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for 2026 business landscape
- Translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and drive strategic alignment
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technology and societal trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
