Responsibilities
- Scan global technological, economic, and societal signals to identify emerging trends with 3-7 year impact horizons
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions for 2026 market landscapes
- Translate foresight insights into executable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Build and nurture an internal network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members through compelling narratives
- Design and implement organizational resilience programs to navigate disruptive transitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
