- Build an innovation ecosystem through partnerships and thought leadership
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic horizon scanning for emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Develop and maintain a strategic futures roadmap with 3-5 year horizons
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops on innovation and future-proofing initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and conference presentations
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in 2026+ landscapes
- Manage relationships with futurist networks and academic institutions
- Measure and report on the impact of future-strategy initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and boards
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
