Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market positioning
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using predictive modeling and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate future insights into actionable roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation summits
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market risks/rewards using proprietary Horizon Scanning AI platform
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of published future-focused thought leadership (Harvard Business Review/MIT Press)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi techniques, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
