- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning emerging tech trends with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry forums
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
- Mentor senior leadership on technological disruption implications
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budget allocation for breakthrough initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed journals
- Executive experience scaling tech ventures to $500M+ valuation
- PhD or equivalent in relevant technical field (preferred)
- Deep network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
