Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product development pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Oversee the incubation of experimental projects with 10-15 person innovation teams
- Ensure all initiatives align with ESG principles and sustainable development goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 transformative technology initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging fields: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in trend forecasting tools
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology disruption strategies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology impact assessment frameworks
