Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market trends to identify strategic opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Lead scenario planning and risk assessments for technological shifts and regulatory impacts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain relationships with industry thought leaders, startups, and research institutions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Author thought leadership content and whitepapers positioning Horizon as a future-ready leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and driving technological adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., generative AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Portfolio of published research or strategic frameworks for future technologies
