Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for long-term product development and market positioning
- Translate complex trend analysis into executive-level decision support tools and roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and industry keynote presentations
- Establish innovation governance protocols for ethical technology deployment
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio of published future-focused strategy documents required
