Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in adopting emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive innovations
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $50M+ innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for next-gen solutions
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption ROI and market disruption success
- Mentor senior technologists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurist or CTO roles
- Proven track record of implementing transformative tech initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro-interfaces, climate tech
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent advanced degree in Technology Strategy preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict market shifts
- Experience scaling global tech initiatives across 3+ continents
- Prior board-level presentation experience with $1B+ impact cases
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, HBR, or similar tier-1 journals
