Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into written text.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure they are free of grammatical errors, typos, and formatting issues.
- Adhere to specific style guides, punctuation rules, and client requirements for every project.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client data and recordings.
- Meet daily production quotas and quality assurance standards.
- Use transcription software and hardware effectively to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Proven experience in transcription or related administrative data entry roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to identify and transcribe various accents.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
