Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company's 5-year vision
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into product development cycles
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders
- Analyze competitive landscapes and technological disruption vectors
- Establish key performance indicators for innovation initiatives and track ROI
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of external futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, white papers)
