Responsibilities
- Architect and manage the end-to-end IT infrastructure for all 16 host stadiums, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Oversee network security and data integrity protocols to protect against cyber threats for over 1 million daily users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy venue upgrades with cutting-edge cloud and 5G solutions.
- Develop a comprehensive post-event strategy to repurpose infrastructure for local communities and businesses.
- Ensure strict compliance with international IT standards, FIFA protocols, and local government regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of network engineers and system administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Engineering, or Project Management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale technical projects, preferably in sports, entertainment, or government sectors.
- Certifications: PMP, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced networking certifications.
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity best practices, and VoIP systems.
- Ability to travel to host sites for deployment, testing, and oversight during the event phases.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
