Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Oversee critical infrastructure maintenance and updates during off-peak hours to ensure zero downtime and optimal performance.
- Code Quality: Lead architectural reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best coding practices are followed across the remote team.
- Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health, logs, and alerts during the night shift to resolve technical issues before business hours.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to define requirements and deliver features that align with our Dallas-based strategic goals.
- Security: Implement robust security protocols to protect our data integrity during maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a night shift or remote environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Availability: Must be available to work a fixed night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or similar) within the Dallas time zone.
- Stack: Proficiency in modern languages (Python, Go, or Java) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills for cross-functional collaboration.
