Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken words into text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure they are free of grammatical errors, punctuation mistakes, and typos.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and style sheets provided by the client.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Meet daily production quotas and quality assurance standards.
- Upload completed transcripts to the secure client portal within the designated deadline.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have a computer with high-speed internet access.
- Proficient typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
- Headset with a microphone is mandatory for this role.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
