Responsibilities
- Transcribe Audio: Listen to audio recordings and convert spoken words into accurate text using industry-standard software.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit transcribed documents to ensure 99%+ accuracy in grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Meeting Deadlines: Complete assigned transcription tasks within strict timeframes to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional customer service and support to project managers regarding specific project guidelines.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize transcription platforms, spell checkers, and formatting tools effectively to deliver polished final products.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in paid training sessions and stay updated on industry best practices and style guides.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Typing Skills: Proven typing speed of at least 60-70 WPM with high accuracy.
- Experience: Previous transcription experience is a plus, but we offer paid training for motivated new hires.
- Equipment: Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and headphones.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent listening comprehension, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
