The Role: As a Remote SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing web content to improve search engine rankings and driving organic traffic. You will work closely with our content team and clients to ensure our SEO strategies align with the latest industry best practices and drive measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search terms and competitor strategies.
- Execute on-page SEO optimization including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and image alt text.
- Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track rankings, traffic, and user behavior.
- Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building and citation building.
- Collaborate with content writers to ensure all content is optimized for both users and search engines.
- Monitor and report on SEO progress to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SEO, with a focus on both on-page and off-page optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work effectively from a remote location.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a significant plus.
