Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across various industries
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client data
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Meet weekly deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Utilize transcription software (Express Scribe, etc.) and foot pedals efficiently
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Communicate proactively with project managers for clarification needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional transcription experience
- Exceptional typing speed (70+ WPM) with high accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transcription software
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet workspace
- Flexible availability to accommodate evening/weekend work
