Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across legal, medical, and corporate sectors
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software (ExpressScribe, oTranscribe) for efficiency
- Perform quality checks and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and formatting
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Collaborate with editors to resolve complex terminology challenges
- Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines using project management tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Minimum 85 words-per-minute typing speed with 99% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based platforms
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and syntax
- Ability to transcribe diverse accents and specialized terminology
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
