Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across various industries
- Format documents according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Research and clarify unfamiliar terminology/accents during transcription
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and materials
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software (Express Scribe, etc.) efficiently
- Collaborate with editors to resolve discrepancies in audio quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transcription software
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with legal/medical terminology preferred
