Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for neural network integration
- Architect scalable quantum computing infrastructure leveraging photonic and superconducting technologies
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to deploy quantum solutions in finance and logistics
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane, or Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with hybrid quantum-classical HPC systems (HPC/Quantum integration)
- Strong Python/C++ skills with quantum simulation libraries
- Clearance for DOE quantum research projects (if applicable)
