Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for next-gen autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and ML engineers
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum cloud infrastructure
- Present findings at premier conferences like Q2B and NeurIPS
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with 20+ peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF grants for quantum research
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of leading R&D teams with successful product launches
