Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for scalable AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure and manage research grants from DARPA, NSF, and industry partners
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive innovation through our internship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience with Qiskit/Cirq
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational quantum circuits
- Strong publication record in quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure $500K+ in research funding
- Experience mentoring researchers in quantum/AI domains
