Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for 2026-era applications
- Lead research in quantum machine learning algorithms with 10x performance improvements
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum/AI journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and industry partners
- Mentor a team of 5+ PhD researchers in quantum AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics (2020-2026 graduates preferred)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or AI
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq with 100+ hours of quantum simulation experience
- Proficiency in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated ability to secure government or industry research funding
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
