Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms to accelerate AI training and inference
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural architectures for complex problem-solving
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum-empowered NLP
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum AI system performance
- Secure and manage research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Science
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
