Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for complex data processing
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI ethics frameworks for 2026 deployment
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in healthcare and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Secure funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum AI research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or advanced neural networks
- Publication record in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, QIP)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Strong background in theoretical computer science and linear algebra
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
