Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuits for error mitigation and coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models to practical applications
- Secure patents for quantum IP with legal team collaboration
- Present findings at premier conferences like Q2B and APS March Meeting
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or complexity theory
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts to working prototypes
