Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms for enterprise-scale systems
- Develop simulation frameworks to validate quantum attack vectors against classical encryption
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Author peer-reviewed research papers and contribute to open-source quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum complexity theory and post-quantum cryptography standards
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum-safe solutions into existing infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical Python frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in lattice-based cryptography and homomorphic encryption
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum attack methodologies
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in complexity theory and computational security models
