Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum accelerators into high-performance computing frameworks
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages like Q# and Cirq
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks (e.g., Sycamore, Jiuzhang)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
