Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with cryptography teams to quantum-proof blockchain and encryption protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Knowledge of NISQ-era hardware limitations and workarounds
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Azure Quantum)
