Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing systems with existing infrastructure
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for quantum machine learning applications
- Conduct performance benchmarking of quantum processors at cryogenic temperatures
- Present architectural blueprints to CTOs and venture capital partners
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction codes
- Track record of securing government/industry R&D grants
