Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum algorithms into machine learning frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions
- Present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Drive patent development for novel quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance systems
- Certification in quantum hardware engineering (preferred)
