Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for real-world enterprise applications
- Lead hardware-software co-development with quantum chip manufacturers
- Develop error-correction frameworks for 1,000+ qubit systems
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era threats
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum workflows
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building quantum systems (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Experience with NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
